Nice, I love the older ZR's. Great looking sleds. I have a 96 Z. Not that fast, but still a fun ride.

This was my very first sled, I mowed a lot of lawns to buy this when I was 13, this is a pic of it in the current shape, I talked to the owner, only thing I had different was no windshield stickers and a red headlight cover

My first sled
In the winter of 78-9 i was 13 and sold every thing i had to purchace a 1973 arctic cat 440 panther. It was a monster and i was a small kid...i brought a fat kid as a copilot so he could help me start it.....77mph on a good road...17 inch wide track..we stepped of the running board to take a leak one night and sunk up to our arm pits in the powder.... My 80 jag purchaced in 92 was my most memorable sled...even though i have had much nicer and faster sleds....thanks i think el tigre 250s rock too

1980 skidoo citation SS. Traded it for my current sled just recently, a 96 Vmax. Why? because the track is so dang rare, and the guy who had the vmax really wanted a vintage. Even trade. I guess it pays to keep your sled as close to mint as possible!

Mine was a 1973 Polaris Colt 295. That was a great sled. My dad bought it for me new. I rode that sled until 1982, only replaced the belt once, put a track on it because I tore it and plugs. Never did a top end or any other engine work. All through elementary school I lived near Erie and rode it from October through April. Do not know how many miles I put on it, but it had to be a pile.

My first sled was an 86 ski doo formula plus. It had been bored and built. It had 251 studs in the track and it would stand straight up. That sled was a rocket. Too bad I was young and dumb or I would still have it.

^^^^^^^ wow! Something to be proud of Gary! Dad bought 68 Olympic. Then I bought a 70? Panther that came with a wankle but po put a 433 yami motor in it. It was fast up to about 55. Lotsa power. Thinking he didn't change the gear ratio in it lol.
