Hi all! Been reading this forum for a while and wanted to introduce myself. Just picked up an 80ish et300 Enticer this season and working to get it running reliably. Thankful to have the experience here!
Welcome to the forum! I had two Enticers, a 79 and an 80. The suspension sucked, but boy, did they ever have a soft seat! They were great sleds for new people to learn on.
So sled was dogging and then flooding at medium throttle out of turns or breaking trail in our field. Was able to pull kids in snow tubes for a awhile then no more. Fuel filter looked good, but alas I discovered looks and function are not connected. Changed it. Regapped the plugs to specs under hood, and removed vent covers someone had bondoed on the hood. Doesn't look pretty now, but runs hella better.
Plans to paint classic camo with the help of my father-in-law (retired tank commander).
Anyone offer other tweaks or upgrades? I know it's not a utility sled but plan is to use it for ice fishing lakes in NW MT...hauling light sled and camping gear, etc. Following other sleds so not breaking trail.
