79 enticer with 60 psi

I thought that i'd let all those who thought that my 79 Enticer would not run with 60psi compression, you thought wrong. It runs great. So next time you have that situation, dont write it off.

I think your compression tester is junk. 2 strokes will run like ABSOLUTE crap, IF AT ALL, with 60 PSI. Worked on them for 20 yrs, haven't had one run worth garbage with anything under 90.

SEG is very right, no matter what sled you have; they will not run anything better than crap at 60 psi. Even on a vintage sled you should be seeing the compression much higher more like 110 or give or take 20 psi better to give lol, but yeah if it is at 60 psi and running "great" than I will let you in on a little secret....... Its bound to blow blow up VERY SOON sorry to burst your bubble bud. But hopfully your psi guage is just ****, i've gone threw a couple of gauges over the last few years.

My citation ran with 70 pounds pretty decent, the next year it was pushing 60... i ended up rebuilding.

Now, my buddy's exciter is a different story. He pushed 80 in one cylinder and 30 in the other. He was still doing speeds darn near 60.

Needless to say, both sleds are in the same garage getting completed.

for those who have forgotten, your engines run their best, right before they blow
