I recently came in to a 1989 Yamaha exciter, thats in a million pieces, as far a s I can tell everything is there, and it looks alright, it has a 570 cc water cooled, oil injected engine, w/ dual mikuni carbs. anyways i want to get rid of it and was wondering if the snowmobile salvage yard should give me any money for it, or if I should be glad just to get rid of it. any input on the worth of this thing should help.

Put it together and sell it (quick cash for other sled)

I wish I had the time or skill to put the thing back together, fendrguy. but i just want to know what a fair price is to sell the thing, in classifieds or to the snowmobile salvage yard. if anybody knows what this parts sled is worth plese let me know.

a private sale you should be able to get 2 - 3 hundred,
believe or not someone somewhere is looking for those parts.
most likely you'll sell it to someone trying to go sleding that does'nt have much cash.

you could wait till first good storm and then drop it in your local paper and you'll most certianly get 300, maybe even 4.
