I have 94 zr 580 motor with a bad sleeve and rod might need attention all on one side. Also, EFI stator ass'y and flywheel,sensors. The motor was originaly carburated and the EFI motor is on my sled, so no carbs available.
I'm not sure? I will go into the Arctic Cat forums and ask. I'm going to guess that it will considering that I am currently running a 95 580 EFI converted back to carbs. But don't know if there would be any difference in motors between two different models? I doubt it but I did post the Question in the Cat forums. Let me know I'll make you the best deal!!
According to "Cazwell" in the forums, these two sleds should use the same motor. I will attempt to get a picture and show it to you. I haven't downloaded pictures on here so bear with me!
I'm told that the mounts may be different, but the crankcase should be the same. This motor has a mount on it but I dont know if its the one you need? The picture thing failed but after further review of the motor I believe the rod is OK its in the same condition as the other one. Still interested? Lets deal. All I have is the motor, the flywheel and stator, recoil but motor is complete except for the fuel injectors. The boots are there.
i need for my sled the crank and an oil pump i had a severe melt down a couple years ago in a race where the left piston had a hole melted into it about the size of a quarter. let me talk to my team mechanic to see if it would be easier to mount the engine or just to get the parts needed. dont send that engine anywhere else. also i will need prices for the shipping and what your looking to get out of the deal.

i need to show these pics to the team mechanic and see what his opinion is the engine looks like it may work but ill let teh mechanic make that decision he should be able to put a price on the engine that is fair as well thanks for the pics
