Hey guys, I'm thinking about picking up a new sled this winter and was wondering what I could get for my 03 Ski-Doo MXZ 800. The seld is carb'ed and runs great, brand new engine and stator in it last winter, the new engine has around 600 miles on it now. Also had a new track put on last winter, other than that, sled is in and runs in great condition.

Not sure yet...depends when I get my new sled. I'd probably try to get around $4,500 for the Doo as I have a lot more into it, also have a 00 AC ZR 600 EFI that has 600 miles on the new engine and LITERALLY everything has been replaced on it, basically a brand new sled. I'd like to sell both.

I would LOVE to get my money back on it, probably have around $3,500 into it, like I said, new track, studs, engine, carbides and a few others. Runs like a champ, always starts on second pull.

Wiith all the work youve done on it im sure its worth that, but unfortiantly, if people see that same sled with 5k miles on it for $1.5k, theyd go for that one, just cuz its cheaper, down the road itd be alot smarter to go with urs tho... im sure someone will pick it up tho, especially in the winter months wen people are desperately looking for a sled

simple fact of the matter is no matter what you have done or dont have done to a machine. its still only worth what the book says...4500 for and 03 is steep regardless of condition, and 3500 on an 00 is murder. im not tryin to be a jack*** just going by what i know. i just got a mint 2004 f7 sno pro with 1500 miles for 2900 bucks 2 weeks ago...goodluck either way.
