Need fuel pump for a injected early 90's Polaris - Snowmobile Forum: Your #1 Snowmobile Forum

I have a 1992 Indy 500 EFI sled that has no fuel pressure. Just bought it it was sitting for quite a wile. Pump runs but wont pull or push fuel. I back probed it and ran it manually in both directions to see if it was plugged. No luck it's shot. Any one out there got a pump????

Been there... Disconnect both lines, and remove the pump. Get a battery and hook up the pump. Take a gas line and connect it to the pump and put it in water. Hook up the battery and see if it pumps. It should push a great amount of water through. If not, I bet the pump is plugged somewhere... Let it run a little longer.

I did try that with a clear hose in the gas filler. i tried both directions. I did find a used one for 60 bucks. Thanks
