I want to sell my old school drifter. It is a 1981 340 chassis with a twin carb 440 motor out of a 79 Intruder. It starts on the first or second pull every time. This machine is very fast and a ton of fun to ride. The headlight is currently not working I have a brand new bulb, something in the wiring. The tail and brake lights work. The electric start works when jumped, but needs a battery. All fuel lines have been replaced. New fuel filter was installed. Gas tank filler is not cracked. I have the factory service manual for both the drifter and the intruder so you are covered for the twin carb motor and the chassis. Motor revs and pulls to about 7200 RPM and has 121 and 123 PSI compression respectively in each cylinder. Speedo cable needs to be replaced the adapter is there. The sled reads 2316 miles on the odometer. I put about 300 miles on it this year. I am asking $550.00 for the machine and manuals. Please call 607 755 1166 if interested or you want to make an offer.
