Need to buy: Jug for a yamaha 600

My dad bought a 1997 yamaha V-Max 600 extended track and it was only running on 1 cylinder so we tore it down and one it looks like a ring broke and meesed up the Jug on the right hand side(as you are sitting on the sled) it wore right through the sleve and all, so if someone has a used stock size jug for cheap, please let me know how much shipped to area code 49093 in three rivers, mi.
thanks,
mike

I'd be tempted to tear the engine all of the way down and rebuilt. I would be afraid of parts in the crank case.

There are lots of those out there but you could have it replated? You wont need to go any further than pulling the jugs likly. Take a shop vac & an air hose to the case and be sure to get all the anti freeze out and it clean. What does the head look like?

There is a shop in Yale, Michigan that has stuff like that. It's called Eastern Michigan Cycle Salvage. They should have a '97 V-max there. The reason I know is my little brother sold it to them this summmer. After he caught skis with a machine going the other way. The motor has less than 1 season on the rebuild w/ new sleeves and everything.
