I'm selling my 1997 Ski-doo Forumla Z to pay off my jeep. The sled has the 583 twin rotax engine. Runs strong, and starts the second pull each and every time, no matter how long it has been sitting. I've done a few cosmetic modifications to the sled last winter, which includes a skid plate ($120), painted skis ($75), Tunnel trim ($30), handle bar end ($15), handle bar riser ($30). I also put a new lightbulb in there, it's a cool, blue, yellow, bulb and looks really sharp and puts out a bright and wide beam of light. I love this sled, and it's been great to me. The track is studded, and hooks up awesome, new carbides, and I put a red screen kit on her. There are a few problems though, the left heated grip doesn't seem to work, I pinched the wire with the bar end, so that's a simple fix. Just recently the Gas gauge and temp gauge have stopped working, No idea why, I haven't tried to figure it out. I'm asking $1,700 for the sled, it's worth all of that and then some. Don't bother with any lowball offers, if I don't get $1,700, then I will just keep it, fix those two problems and ride it again next year. It would just be nice if I could get this jeep paid off now.
I buffed the heat shield with mag wheel polish, and I think I'm going to pull the muffler and clean that up and spray it with a high temp semi gloss black, or maybe silver.
