Rare 72 Skiroule RTX factory racer with the Sachs sa-2 340rx motor. The sled is about 85% done. I had the tunnel blasted and repainted with the original color and redid all the chassis. I have used all stainless steel fasteners on it. The chassis is all done and ready to go. I had the seat reupholstered using the original foam and the old cover as an exact copy and I also have the original cover too. I have had the handlebars, nerf bar and controls rechromed. It has NOS shocks on the skis, which have been painted and new wearbars were installed.
The motor runs great, I have only rewired it and havent done much else to the motor because I cant find any parts for it, but it runs awesome and has good compression. It has the original stinger pipes, which have been sand blasted. The jack shaft and drive shaft bearings have been replaced, NOS drive sprockets, new drive belt, new sliders, and new bushings and stainless hardware throughout. Sled runs and drives as it is now, its very powerfull and is a blast to ride.
I have started fiberglass work on the hood and belly pan. They just need some more sanding with finer grit and primer and paint. If the buyer wants, I can negotiate getting the hood and belly pan painted before picking it up. I have reproduction decals for it.
The things it needs
1. Windshield, I have the original but its broken in half
2. Gas tanks, has a pretty large crack but may be repairable
3. Running board mats, 1 is good, but the other is torn
4. Grips
5. Paint
