your sled is 80 hp stock you can gain 20hp and change by by instaling black magic hot rod chip dg pipe and silecer 9 bolt tower clutch from black magic complete with heart throb springs and super shifter weights, clutching will be nessesary your sled will hit 107 mph and have a little over 100 hp you will be looking back at your buddy on his zr 600 and he will not be grining! this was done to a 93 ext 550 efi and im pretty sure yours is the same series and this will work for you ..mike

Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean it's factual!! My Cats run fine, thanks for the offer. They start every time, too!!

haha where would the chip go in his ignition those arent fuelies there my friend only ext's and zr's and powder machines came with fuelies that year the cougars had carbs....and the only way u could get that kind of power on that machine would be to through 580 jugs on it we did that to my bros machine but i doubt he was runnin 100hp maybe 95 max i would say but it did perform well, we also clutched it and ran a fatboy pipe with dg stinger and took out the airbox and ran filters straight off the carbs... top speed after that was maybe 100 if you where in perfect conditions never did i see it do more and i ran it too the pin many times

a single pipe on a machine that size would only give u maybe 5hp and that would be extremely generous.....

this is what we call, someone who estimates hp by looking on the package... "5-15 hp gain!"
