Wanted- Reverse Kit to fit 99 MXZ

Looking for a reverse kit for a 99 MXZ 600, either new or used. Scoured the net for one and came up empty. Any Ideas? Thanks

maybe the reson you can't find the kit is because if you wanted reverse on your 99 mxz when you ordered it you got RER (electronic reverse) so there is no mechanical reverse to be found??

The only reverse my sled has is when I pull it backwards myself. There is a mechanical reverse out there somewhere(I hope).

I don't think the 99's have RER. I have a 00 and it has mechanical reverse.

from ski-doo.com's page with the 1997-2005 models

the 99 mxz 600 said this:

Quote:
Our exclusive Rotax® Electronic Reverse (RER) can turn you around without the added parts or weight of a mechanical reverse gear. Now this touch–of–a–button technology is available on more sleds than ever before.
so there was no mech reverse available on the mxz 600 in 99

If you check out the options on that ski-doo link it says "optional mechanical".

oh yeah, i see it now.

RER can be added but the amount of parts you have to buy make it rediculous.

good luck on your search of a mech. one

Everytime you want to back up, just sit on the seat backwards!

It would not be practical to add RER to that sled.

I agree. I don't think RER is available for that sled anyway. Scoured the Ski-Doo site for the mechanical reverse. Must not be available anymore.
