WTP - '75 Merc 340 SR rear suspension linkages

...for my "drag" sled. Form my limited searching, I have not found anything.

A friend has a set of El Tigre' suspension that I've asked around about. The consensus is that it should fit - may have to move a couple holes at the back though.

As long as the track length is the same, you probably can use the 'Tigre suspension.

Hey, I located a '72 Merc that's going cheap - It needs an engine, but it's in better shape. It is a Hurricane 644.

It looks very similar to the S/R though. Will my running Kohler 340 drop in - will it go with tweaking?

Opinions?

I waws told by a gentleman at Image enterprises that the 340 would probably not fit up to the 644 - way different mounting.

I have a fairly complete 75 SR 340 that I was going to restore. it needs a track and a recoil. tunnel and hood are very nice. engine is complete (less recoil) and has a rebuilt carb. I have not tried to fire it yet.

Watch this thread. I found a "parts" sled. Sounds like it might be in better shape than the one I've got... I may have extra parts left over when I'm done.
