1998 Ski-Doo Formula 500 Parts

I have Misc parts from a 1998 Formula 500 I am selling or trading for Polaris Indy parts. All parts are in excellent shape for the sled was parted for it was rolled and the hood was crunched and tunnel slightly bent yet both still have potential for repair.

New Pics Here:

http://www.datamania.com/garage/ski-doo/doo_parts.html

The following is a partial list of what is available:

- Complete SC-10 Rear Suspension with new Fox Shock
- Complete DSA Front Suspension
- Front Shocks
- Seat
- Tunnel
- Heat Exchangers
- Speedo
- Tach
- Brake Caliper
- Wiring Harness
- Headlight
- Handle Bar & Handlebar Controls, heating elements
- Stock (I think) Red Plastic Ski-Doo skis
- Red Hood (kinda tweaked yet I bet with some TLC a handy guy could do something with it.)
- Drive Shaft with Sprockets
- Chain Case & Assy
- Secondary Clutch
- 38mm Carbs

Yep a lot of the parts will work for I have done a lot of crosschecking from the parts microfiche.

Unfortunately the rear suspension is sold. If you follow the link I posted I have tried to mark all the sold items so it is best to check out my link:

Thx!

I was really trying to sell the chaincase as a whole unit. What are you willing to pay for the back side which is actually the chaincase itself, you just don't want the cover right?

Also many of the driveshafts are compatible and even if your sled just came with two sprockets on the drive shaft it is likely you can go with a 4 sprocket model for usually they just add the extra sprockets for higher output engines and infact that is often a good upgrade if you have done any performance mods on your engine.

id give you 30$ for the chain case better than 90$ for new
the thing with the driveshaft is this one has 2 wheels and I made a thread about it in the general massage board and I asked if the 4 wheeled driveshaft would work with that track(line up right) and no one thought it would if you could tell me it would for sure work I would buy it cuz new ones are about 240$ and its not my sled and I dont now the history on any engine mods

I'll probably take $30.00 + shipping for the chaincase w/o the front cover.

What kind of track do you have? The track that was on this Doo that used 4 sprockets, is now on one of my Polaris IndySports that just has 2 sprockets.

So in other words the track I now have on my Polaris Indy that runs with just 2 sprockets, will work on a Doo that has 4 sprockets.

I think they are completely interchangeable . . .

Wait you said "Cover" in your last post.

Do you want the "Chaincase" or the "Chaincase Cover"?

Also if you let me know what sled you have I can crosscheck the micro fiche and see if the driveshaft is the same one. Do you need a driveshaft or not?

I did some part number cross checking and it looks like the part number is slightly different for your chaincase and the one out of the Formula 500 I am parting out.

If you go here:

http://216.37.204.202/Skidoo_OEM/Ski...=13&A=306&B=22

You can lookup the chaincase for each sled and compare the part numbers. If you want to ask around and see if the chaincase will work even though different part #s I'll be happy to sell it to you yet I wanted to at least warn you first.

Sorry when it comes to big items the only stuff I have is the stuff pictured here:

http://www.datamania.com/garage/ski-doo/doo_parts.html

I might have other small odds & ends too trivial to list yet if someone asks for them I might be able to dig them up.

Thx!
