need legal info
so if i travel to mich from another state will i need to do anything special to ride the trails there. when i go to canada i have to carry 500k in liability insurance on each sled and if i travel on any ontario trails marked by them i must have a trail pass at almost 250 bucks a sled per season..
so thinking on a trip to the U.P.
any info welcome

As long as your sled is registered in your home state, you are good on registration. Trail permits are readily available, sled shops, meijers, etc., I do not know about Walmart. You can also order them thru the Michigan Snowmobile Association. Welcome to MSA

yes, anyplace you can buy a hunting or fishing license, you can also get a trail permit. Walmart does sell them.
