2006 Ski-Doo GTX Ltd - Good/Bad?
Any thoughts on the quality and reliability of this sled? It has 3300 miles on it. The 600 SDI has good reviews I think.
I ride trails only and on typically very good trail conditions. The wife would be a passenger on long trips only so I like the fact that the two rear seats can be removed so I can ride a "one-up" sled. She started driving her own sled last year but won't drive long distance yet. I don't think I'd ever use the 2+1 seat for a third person.
Let me know what you think as I value everyone's opinion.

Should be a pretty solid sled. Good engine and thats the grand touring so it should have all the bells and whistles.

SS, ya, it's got all the toys being a Ltd edition. I've got a '94 Grand Touring and it was loaded for it's time.
Cruzr, He's asking $6k and new it was $12 500. I've found others with higher mileage for $6500 and $7200 so far. It was made pretty much the same until the new XP chassis came out in 2009. I'll just have to see how much more in debt I want to be in.
Thanks for the input, keep it coming.

No, I put it off for now, too many other expenses (yard landscaping for the wife, vehicle repairs) and other toys to buy.

Thats understandable! You have enough sleds to get you through another season lol, upgrading is always nice when possible tho!
