Calling all Mainers!

Hey all! I've got my motor rebuilt, a new track, and some other odds and ends, and this year I want to ride! Last season, I traveled about 1 mile down the side of a road to get to any local trails - went through alot of homemade carbides, and the riding sucked, even when I got to snow. Twisty turning trails through peoples backyards - my back was killing me all season. I want some groomed trails!

I just got a 2 place tilt trailer, so this year I can travel a little and maybe bring a buddy. I'm looking for some park and ride places in Southern Maine. I live just north of Portland and am willing to travel a little bit. I just want to get on some decent trails! Anybody know of a good spot to park my trailer and car and drive onto some decent trails?

Thanks!

I think this would be a good first stop...

ITS Trail Map

Get involved with a local club, you will learn tons about the local clubs and meet some new riding partners as well!!

Good luck on your search! Being first on a freshly groomed trail on a day with no one else around is an awesome experience!!
