Last ride for the year

Who else thinks they have had their final ride? A friend and I went to the U.P. (Michigan) and got 340 miles in Monday and Tuesday. The trails were great! We missed the weekend traffic, roads and trails, and we were the first or second sleds on almost every trail. We got rained on a little Tueday afternoon, but the base held up well. We planned on staying on till Wednesday night, but it looked like a wind storm might have closed the bridge most of Wednesday, so we left late Tuesday night. More than likely my last ride for the year, but it was a good one!

What did the rest of you do for the last one?

Looks like a good time! We rode about 45 mins away from home for dinner on Monday night. Looks like that's about it. Maybe sneak one more in.

I am hoping to get out around the house some, (Beulah, MI near Traverse City) We stayed at my buddies cabin, belongs to he and his dad, and left the sleds there for his dad to use Saturday. He's going up to ride around and check the property. I won't get mine back until next week. Might still get a few miles in. I lost something in the suspension. It started sagging way down after a whooped out trail. I cranked the stiffener blocks over and it wasn't too bad for the rest of time there, but it'll need some work before long.

I was talking to a flight medic from Bend, Oregon yesterday.. he is going out with a group tomorrow. He said last year they went up into mid-June. I wonder how my EFI sled would handle 70-80 degree temps and snow?? I know I would be confused!!
