Gaylord area has a nice trail system. Another good run is Copemish to Maple City. Rode that last year, left from my house near Cadillac and ended up with 200 miles that day. Very nice ride. Stay away from Caberfea trails, unless it's the weekday. Always good riding in the U.P. If you get the chance, go! You won't regret it.

Just don't go to Paradise on a weekend. I'll never ride there again. Rode 230 miles one day with 30 miles in the Paradise area, worst of the whole trip.
