Thumbs up Yesterday's ride

I was to meet a bunch of guys at the Dryden VFW at 9 am. I was a little late due to the need for an emergency repair. Damn pull rope broke off leaving me with a foot of rope in my hand and the rest in the recoil. Quick fix and 20 min's later I am on my way. Met up with the guys at a few past 9.

A unique feature of our route is the covered snowmobile bridge

Lunch was at "Denney's Mountain View Inn" where the Tully Trailblazers was also holding a pig roast and fund raiser ride.

At our second gas stop.

It 's amazing how close you can get to wild turkeys before the will get out of the way.

Then we were playing in another field and I guess that my camera reacts too slow. I should have made this a vid shot instead.
The direction is toward a steep climb in the field and we were doing speed runs and jumps off the rise.

The day's riding was great fun and I got to put some faces to the names.
The trails were fair to good and even though most had not been groomed and a lot of the corners had "snirt".
The best part was that we rode for 7-8 hours and added 100+ miles to our season totals.
I now have over 350 miles so far this year. Not too bad considering that I have not trailered anywhere and have not had that much snow most of the season.

I left out the best part, and nobody has pics of it I think.
Chasing down a kid on a 4 wheeler tearing up the trails and tearing him a new one.

He tried to argue with me that he had permission to ride on those fields, but I convinced him that he was in it real deep if I caught him on the marked trail again.

Very cool, I'm suprised you have such low miles on this year.I thought you got quite a bit of snow up your way.
