Well, just got back from Old Forge, we had a lot of fun and rode 65 miles the first day and 71 the second. Most we've done in a long time. The trails were great, smooth as ice

We even went out on the lake and raced. I found out my Indy will do 65mph tops with me on it, I rode my dads 600 and went up to 95 but I woulden't go any faster.....it was scary but cool as hell

Of course no trip is without its problems. First day my uncles sled wouldent start, so my dad worked his magic with my lighter, starting fluid, and his tools and got it started. Then after the fun on the lake we stopped to get food and when my cousin went to restart my uncles sled the pull cord broke. So, we had to take the recoil off and start the sled with the spare little rope thing. Then, after we got it fixed the recoil spring came off when we went to start it so we had to get it fixed again. Then before we left the trailer had a flat so we fixed that then we were on our way home. Its -35*f up there which was a bit cold but we still had fun. We decided to come home a day early because my dad didn't want to drive home while it was snowing. We took some pics, of what I don't know......i'll see when they get developed

I did get a new Polaris jacket while I was there so im happy =)

Well, great to hear you'll had fun... and a few problems. I have learned that with snowmobiling... something always goes wrong.

Usually its more like broken belts and an occasional crash, but regardless it just adds to the experience. Hopefully you can get those pics online.

Yea, something always goes wrong. Funny thing is its always on that particular sled.

Im taking my snowmobile out to my neighbors backyard tomarrow, i'll try to get a couple of pics of me with my new jacket on

I can't wait for this supposid 2 feet of snow were getting here in NJ

why didn't you just wrap the rope around the clutch and start it that way instead of taking the rewind and all of that apart?? would of been less work

Because on old Polaris sleds the rewind is connected to the clutch, in order to get to the clutch you have to take off the rewind. Its no big deal, just 2 screws and its off.
