Honeymoon in the UP Advice

HELLO!!! So we are trying to take our honeymoon in the Ontanogan/Houghton area of the UP. We are trying to keep the lodging under $1000 for the week. We would really like to find a place that we can get our own cabin, pull the sleds right up to the door and still be pretty close the the trail. PLEASE!!! Anyone have any ideas? Thanks much!!!

PS...If you know of a place that has a hot tub in the cabin even better!

My advice, don't get married! It is so much cheaper that way. More money for your sled. ;-)

this is where we stay every year, the place is GREAT and right on the trail in the middle of everything, can go north to copper harbor or south and spread out from there.

yooperlodge sent me this info by mistake...i think he ment to PM you or post it in your thread...

First congratulations! I see you haven't gotten too many replies to your quest, so I thought I'd let you know about our cute cabin. It is on the Bill Nichols Trail #3. One of the best groomed trails in Michigan. We are 2 miles South of the Twin Lakes State Park on Hwy M26. We are near the junction in the trail for travel in all four directions. We are located at the based of the Keweenaw Peninsula. The cabin would be perfect for a snowmobiling honeymoon. Private and trail nearby. See our website for more info on the cabin http://www.yooperlodge.com and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Our email is yooper@yooperlodge.com The cabin has full kitchen, Satellite TV, VCR/movies. It has 1 separate bedroom and the twin beds can be made into a king bed. Wishing you the best no matter where you stay! Congrats again! The Mansells
