Arrow ~~~ Winter is quickly approaching ~~~

Well here in Vermont the leaves have changed and the weather has grown cold... the smell of wood smoke fills the air most mornings...we have seen two frosts and the grass has stopped growing...with winter approaching you can't help but look to those dark clouds on the horizon and the sun as it sits low in the sky and think snow is on its way ...soon enough we will be on our snowmobiles gliding along on the white stuff...I hope and pray that Jack Frost does right by us all this year and we have a winter like no other...keep your fingers crossed and help us all as we eagerly await that first snow...let us know when you get your first snowfall!

Thanks so much...Be Safe and Think Snow!

There are rumors of flurries in the Twin Cities area within a week. Nothing that will stick, but still - it offers hope!!

I heard that Buffalo NY got like 2 feet... I am super jealous! Anyone else get a dumping of snow from that weather front? I understand it is going to miss us

We got dumped on last night up in Cabot...power was out for nearly 12 hours...a BEAUTIFUL 5 inches...! Everywhere you look it was white...heavy wet snow though...still not able to ride...but wow very encouraging... Funny though drove to Portland, ME this afternoon for a conference and once I got out of Cabot NOTHING until I went through Crawford Notch...they got some snow...but it looks like Cabot was blessed...and they are calling for more snow on Monday and Tuesday...we may have a white Halloween...that could be a first! Hope all are well...THINK SNOW!

Snow down by my parents' house yesterday - a decent inch and a half of heavy stuff on my car. Unfortunately, nothing stuck on the ground...

Heard on the radio a low pressure system over Utah and Ciolorado brought as much as 12 inches of snow last night.

South/Central - Columbus, WI. It's about halfway between Madison & Beaver Dam, if that helps at all. It's teeny.

winter is approaching? well tell it to hit minnesota HARD. I think early fall is over staying its welcome... next week looks like 50-55 for highs. Which leads me to believe our first big snowfall that will be enough for us to ride will be late december or mid january.

You HAVE to be more positive than that, cripes!

haha

Actually, I don't really care if we get snow around here (here being the Twin Cities - I don't know where you are in MN). It's around Eagle River, WI, that I care about.
