Actually, I don't really care if we get snow around here (here being the Twin Cities - I don't know where you are in MN). It's around Eagle River, WI, that I care about.

I've been right so far!

I have a few questions on your area.

1. Trail permits cost?
2. How miles of trail?
3. Best place to ride?
4. where did you learn to write so eloquently.
Sorry it took so long to get back to you...your response didn't come to me over email...!

For a Vermont Trail Map go to VAST_Map

1. How much is a TMA?

A Vermont Resident TMA costs $65 per sled for Vermont
Residents or Vermont Property Owners, as long as your
machine is registered in VT.

A Non-Resident TMA costs $95 per sled.

Also assessed along with the cost of each TMA are County
dues of $3.00 per sled and our Local Club (Cabot Skylighters)
dues of $7.00 per sled.

2. How many miles of trails?

Vermont has over 5,000 miles of contected trails across the State.

3. Best place to ride?

The North East Kingdom of Vermont; Island Pond, Derby, Eden the upper Nort East corner of the State. BUT...with all this new snow anywhere in Vermont is a great place to ride

4. Where did you learn to write so eloquently.

Thank you...comes natural i guess...

I haven't been to Vermont yet.
Another good page is Grand County, Colorado's Tourism Board's snowmobiling page outlines like 300 miles of trails around Winter Park and Grand Lake. Hope it helps someone out.
