What and how do you carry your stuff......

Just wondering what you carry on your sled and where you put it. On my sled I carry a First Aid Kit and Survival kit I prepared my self. I also carry Spark Plugs, a Spark Plug wrench, multi-tool, and a flashlight. The registration info, a map, a compass, a flashlight, and a knife I usually keep on my person. I'll throw a thing of water in the back too.

My dad has a side saddle on his sled, so he keeps the tow-ropes inside as well as a small toolbox. In the side-saddle he usually puts something to drink and eat (mostly for my little bro who gets cranky when he is hungry) He also keeps my Hatchet in there. He has a flashlight and a map too, but he pretty much knows the trails by heart.

Thats very good, as for the tools, i carry a long flat head screw driver for dorking with the air screw on my carbs, but it realy isnt needed. I carry a jetting tool. That is basically just somthing that fits my primary jet on the bottom of the carbs which i switch depending on temp. ( so i dont run my engine to lean. All that i keep raps on with my exhaust temp guage. But the matches are the most important. I carry a few lighters and matches in different places so if one gets wet, the others are still dry. But it sounds like you and your Dad have things very much under control. I carry a long magnet as well (thanks to my cousins idea) for when i drop one of those jets under the engine. That with a few other specialzed tools, i carry a lot of crap including extrat hats and gloves and shirts all in a hicking backpack and my storage under the seat. Mostly on longer trips i use the backpack, but it doesn't get in my way at all.
