Barrie run
Planning a trip to barrie and wondering what any barrie locals think.

Might trail off to Wasaga. Also there are Kelseys' in Midland and Orillia I'd probably take a stop at.
Also the map I'm using shows a parking area near right where the e is on Barrie, only thing is I can't find an address/direction/ or anything. It shows it to be kind of in the middle of nowhere.

Well I just ran the lake from my place to Innisfil, and it was more then frozen. There wasn't even a single pressure crack. Worst comes to worst, theres a park near Innisfil Beach road right beside the lake were you could park, then its about a 10-15min sled ride by lake to Barrie.

Sure, I'm all for that. Since I can't find any directions to the other stadging area thats alright. I just hope we can find it on the way back without getting lost. I guess you could check it out once closer to the trip incase conditions change.
Btw, can you get on the beach from the trails at Wasaga? If nobody knows we could just go that way (southern trail) and take the northern trail outa there.

This weather isn't looking good guys
It's supposed to be above zero for the rest of the week with showers and a high of about 10 on friday and saturday. What are we going to do if we get rained out? If the weather doesn't get any better we might have to wait until next season

I wouldn't mind getting out for one more ride before spring comes and I put the sleds away. Even if we just fart around on the lake a bit, we'll just have to watch those corners on the river. Some of those guys fly around those corners like they're the only ones on the ice

I don't think we can go. Zero snow on the trails (we had the 2 solid days of rain too), and a few inchs of water on the lake.
