First post. I haven't owned a sled since 72 or so when I had a 440 cheetah, hehe, been a year or two since I moved to Texas in 74.

I have a place up in Upstate NY and I'm starting to spend a lot of winter time up there, it's on a lake so we have a lot of sleds running the lake at high speeds, but we also have lots of trails.

I like the trails and I ride aggressive, my buddies son has a rev 600 and I like it a lot but I want a sled that will still trail aggressive yet still allow me to take my girlfriend out for a hot toddy

Any suggestions, what's one step more domesticated than a rev? I want a 'like new' used sled for $4,000 or less, very little snow in NY this year so I'm thinkin' there's deals out there

THe Ski Doo Grand Touring sleds are peppy, comfortable sleds. Do a Yahoo search for "Ski Doo Grand Touring". THat will bring up what they look like. They have 600cc Rotax engines in them, reverse, etc. Great, reliable sleds. Welcome to the forum!

I'm not looking for a peppy touring sled, don't let my age fool you, I ride a Ninja, drive a CJ and there's no way I'm going to let those young whippersnappers pull away from me, rev or not. I'm looking for an aggressive sled that will seat two, riding double on the ninja isn't comfortable, but it's doable, something along those lines

EDIT The FireCat SnoPro 600 looks good so far, does it sit different and/or handle a passsenger better than the rev?

Still looking, I want a choice of 3 or 4 acceptacle sleds and I'll buy the best deal

Go with a rev and get one with the 1+1 a seat.
