Canada / Ontario / Barrie - 2005-2006

Looks like a couple inches on the ground, it likely won't stay for too long...but the ground is getting colder

I was actually sleddin' around my buddy's yard this weekend. He lives in a small town called Bethany. It's just north of the Ganaraska forest. He had a couple inches of snow, just enough to keep the sliders moist and 2 acres of property. Not a lot, but better than nothing, LOL! Man we're pethetic Felt good to pull on the loud handle though. I can hardly wait for the trails to open.

The French

Spark.. Where around the French do you stay? I am serious about Killarney this winter. We boat there in the summer and have friends with property there. Normally go either home obviously or Parry Sound. I have boated Killarney for years and am told I can go see the same old mountain ranges etc and am really looking forward to it.

Georgian Bay/Barrie

And it hasn't stopped snowing in at least two weeks. Lake effect snow is a wonderful thing. The trails are still listed by the OFSC as closed but we do have a good base now. No shortage of places to sled.

We've got a crap load of snow rolling in today and over the next three days. Expecting 30cm or more. Should be riding all weekend!!
