We've recieved a little over a foot of snow this past couple of days. I took the sled out and run it up and down the road acouple of times. We are currently under a lake effect snow avisory for Emmett, and Cheboygen counties. They are calling for rain Sunday, and Monday with temps in the mid to upper 40's then dropping back down to the lower30' to upper 20' and more snow through friday.

It been raining since yesterday. the snow has been knocked down quite a bit. It has also been really warm in the low 50's. there's still about 3" of snow here. A low pressure system is moving through and will set up some lake effect snow showers for the snow belt areas. then some system snow will move in toward the end of the week.temps will be back in the upper 20's/low 30's.

Lake effect snow has been moving through the area since yesterday with about 2" of new accumulation. System snow will be moving in today to enhance the lake effect. 5-10" are expected in the snowbelt areas. 7 day forecast is calling for snow everyday. trails should be ridable by next weekend.

I had a chance to take a walk so I could clear the fallin trees off my trail. I went and inspected the trail near my house. It's deffinately not ridable this weekend. There's about 6" of snow, but there are bare spot do to wheeled vehicles driving through during hunting season. We'll see what happens as far as weather this coming week. Hopefully next weekend they will be ridable.

I had to do it. I had to go for a ride last night. the trails have about 6-8" of fluff. It was a slow ride, but it was still fun. I did a lot of stoppin to pick sticks oout of the trails. I went on trail #71 to Alanson, then went up to Pellston on trail#7. #7 needs more snow. It snowed all night, and is still fallin. We recieved around 4" lastnight. Get ready everyone.

I went to Indian River today.Ok so now there's a good 2 1/2 ft of so. The trails are awsome especially if you like powder. They are gettin pretty packed down with sled traffic. we are still gettin slammed with the lake effect snow. Hopefully the groomer wiil beable to get out this weekend. I put some pic of the trails in the Michigander thread. Just click my sig.

They broke the groomer out lastnight. Nice smooth trails in the flat areas, but the hills need more snow on them. Syill alittle bumpy, but not bad. Now if the idiots would just quit greasin the throttle off the corners, we would have a good base everywhere.

the trails are pretty beat now. They were pretty good about 5mi north of Brutus Rd. in the Larks Lake/ Cross Village area. Lots of dirt now because everyone has to race out of the corners. Need more snow.

Took a cruise down to Gaylord today. I took #7 down, and back to Wolverine, then cut through Chandler hills. The trails were kinda beat up do to lots of traffic, but manageable. The trails in the Alanson/ Harbor/Pellston area all suck. They never groomed for the weekend.
