Hopefully Big Bore King will chime in. He lives near Gaylord. He will have a pretty good idea of what the trail may be like down that way.

Yep same here. Got about 4-6" . Took the duaghter for a small cruise this afternoon. The trails were groomed lastnight. This is a wet snow, so hopefully they will groom again tonight.
Hey Big Bore, after you get your drive done, come and plow mine...

Looks like a total accum of about 14" But wind blew all night so the bulk of it has been blown into the woods and ditches, Trails should be in excellent shape as they were trying to groom west of my place last night, They were having trouble seeing with the wind. Operator said it was packing great and they were hoping to have them all hit by this afternoon if the wind dies down.

I didn't get down to waters but around gaylord there is mud showing thru in places on the trail along 27. I would not ride my sled on them. Off trail riding would still be good if you know where to go. I lost all but about an inch of the snow we received the other day. Its been a high of 49* the last 2 days and a good breeze from the south. I don't think I'm even going to get my sled out of storage this year. I've got registrations due and I'm sure not going to spend the cash with a winter like this.

I guess I can be happy I don't have payments on any of mine. I feel sorry for those that bought a new sled, paying for something you can't ride. I wish I could figure out whats up with our winters lately. I guess i"ll go to the snowx races today at least they have snow there.

Gaylord must be a mud bog. Snow conditions must be almost extinct?

Rain stopped around 9:00 pm and over night we received 2" wet snow, temps still in the low 30*'s. Unless you know the two tracks and seasonal roads, this is not where you want to ride for a while.

Just went and did a recon mission. Took a small cruise up through Pellston to Levering, and back. They just groomed the trails this morning. I was amazed at how great of condition they were in. It's been a pretty wierd winter this year. Usually Gaylord has all the good riding, but it seems that the tables have turned. We recieved about 4" of new snow lastnight after the rain stopped.
