U.P. weather report

3-6" of the white powdery stuff today, depending where you're at, and it's still coming down. I drove to Houghton last night for the MTU/NMU hockey game. Lots of snow up north, especially between Marquette and Lanse.

4-6" of fresh snow near escanaba on Sunday. More snow as you travel north. I heard reports of 12-18" of fresh snow from Marquette to Ontonogan. Continues to snow this week. I also heard trails toward munising were groomed and in beautiful shape. Should be a good weekend for riding. We are going tomorrow night to take advantage of the nice trails before the weekend rush hits.

If you do make it up this way, be careful on the roads and the trails.
