No kidding...I went through there on Sunday and stopped at my buddy's place off exit 270 on the way from my cabin in the UP and they had almost a foot on the ground. I'll try to get up there this weekend to ride...

Yep we're staying right off 270 at Rays.

We got off 7 and took 4 and further away from Gaylord the better.

Met up with a buddy that lives right off trail 4 and we rode two tracks back and talk about some DEEP powder. Never rode in deep powder up hills and down hills and gotta say its a lot of fun.

Went down by Grayling Airport and rode back up. Going to go back out once my headache goes away...

Gaylord is going to be HAMMERED today through Friday with 1-2 feet and one of the local weather guys said if the wind blows right, some areas could see up to 3 feet

Ditto, I work in Gaylord and live in Indian River, and let me tell ya...Snowfall has never been so great this early in the season. I've put about 120 miles on Mon night and last night combined after work. And it is snowing like hell right now!!

I should have looked at the weather report before I agreed to get the house decorated this weekend. I've learned to NOT argue with a pregnant woman...

Trail 4, Gaylord (Johnson Road)

2nd year groomer

I know he wasn't too happy with me taking pictures but come on, I couldn't pass up the opportunity

He said he just "slipped" off the trail

We were out riding earlier tonight but had to quit. Snowfall was coming WAY too hard...started getting dangerous IMO...

Tomorrow should be fun

Have to agree about the snow and trail conditions. Rodae out of Topinabee last weekend all was good except for the #76 and #765 trails from vanderbilt towards Elmira, they were bad, bumpy and narrow. Everything else was outstanding. 300 miles even with several snafus on the sleds, engine rebuilds brought the gas mileage back to 9-10 mpg on the old 98 600 vmaxs, gas prices sure do help as well.
