Rudyard to Copper Harbor-MI

Hey all I haven't been on here in quite some time so I figured theres no better time to get back on by telling a bit about my recent trip to Copper Harbor and back- all on sled.

Theres a lot to tell but to sum it up there were 7 of us, logging 1000mi in 5 days with no injuries and only minor mechanical faliure. (which is awesome considering most of us had older sleds with lots of miles.) We left Sat Feb 16th @ 8am from Joe's Bar in Rudyard and made it back on Wed Feb 20th @ 3:30pm. It was a great time as the trials were absolutly awesome especally for a holiday weekend. The snowmobile clubs did an outstanding job of grooming, the Red Fox inn on K.I Saywer AFB and Travelodge of Houghton did and excellent Job of accomadating us. The only trail setback we incurred was that the trail from Chassle to Houghton is closed. However thanks to Harry Chinnock, owner of the Greenlight cabins & restaurant giving us perfect directions on how to navigate from Chassle to Houghton- we made it without a hitch. It was a great group of guys, great trials, great time of memories that'll never be forgotten.
