Best MI Ride Ever

Headed up to St. Ignace late sat. afternoon, got there and noticed the open water to mackinac island so that means probably no ice bridge this year. Stayed at the Village Inn which was already filled with sleds. Anyways we got about 85 miles in that night riding to cut river and epoufette bay area. The next morning we left around 8 and hit trail #2 wanting to go north to Trout lake maybe Newberry, well after going a steady 10-15 miles of non-stop 100mph we had to take a little break from that and headed into the woods down trail #471 and messed around there in the bush. We were the second group on that whole set of trails all morning so we had nothing but perfect trails flying every which-way. Finally made it to trout lake after all this and got some lunch then deciding to call it a day leaving trout lake somehow ending up by bevort lake and took the backroads all the way back to SI. Overall we did an upwords of 195 miles, here in Gaylord there is more snow but their trails were in perfect shape with a good solid base from the last snowfall. They were the best MI trails I have ever rode on, even better than Munising, making it the best MI ride ever!

Awsome. We're loading up on Wednesday to head to Pine Stump. From what I read on all the trail reports on FISHWEB and Cathy Clementz, ALL the trails are in great shape. We'll be up there for 7 nights.Plan on riding to Munising and Sault Ste Marie during the week.I hope we get dumped on while were UP there.
We have an 8th night reserved just incase we get stuck up there like last year.
