Evilice

A current January thaw with heavy rains and thunderstorms along with crazy mild weather has closed our trail systems. Most trails now have lost all their snow and the waterways have thawed and become even more dangerous! Keep off the lakes and bays in this area now more than ever this year. Georgian Bay has become very unstable in it's ice thickness and with this weather it will only get worse as the week goes on!!
This is turning out to be a bum year for the sledders in this area! The only thing we can hope for is for this mild spell to pass on and cold weather move in along with some snowstorms! We lost most of our snow last night when a massive warm rainfall hit the area!
I am getting mad at the weather now!!!
