Im located in Edgerton (about 12 miles north of Janesville, just off of I-90), which is pretty close to Delevan.
You can PM me for snow conditions if you want. As of right now we have 0" of snow (50 degree weather will do that).

I really appreciate it. We have a summer home on a lake just south of whitewater. The last few weekends I was all over the lake and trails. There was about 7-8 inches of snow. can't believe this crazy weather. Hopefully the lakes not thawed. We live 2 hours south from there and the weather can be very different. Its nice to be able to contact someone about the conditions.Thanks.

Yup, we HAD great snow, but thats all gone now. They are forecasting 1-3" of snow tomorrow night, so thats a start, but we will need at least 6" of snow and cold temps before the trails are ridable again.

Are the lakes still frozen? I will get back to see how much snow you actually get there. I thought I heard 2" today and 2" tomorrow.

Yup, all the lakes are still frozen. Most of the lakes still have anywhere from 6"-8" of ice.
The snow we are supposed to get ranges depending upon where you live and whose weather forecast you believe.
SW Wisconsin is supposed to get 1-3", south central Wisconsin is supposed to get 3-5" and SE Wisconsin is supposed to get 4-6". Right now where Im at we just got a light dusting, Id say less than 1/2", but we are supposed to get 4" by tomorrow morning.
Im not complaining. I just wish it would get cold so that the lakes would freeze down again (they have a lot of slush and standing water on top of the ice right now) so that I could do some practice runs with my sled and get ready for the big radar run in 2 weeks. Id like to be able to practice my starts so that I can at least look like I know what Im doing and not make a complete fool of myself.

At a bar in Fort Atkinson, WI called, "Sunset Tavern" on Lake Koshkonong. Its a 580' track with 2 side-by-side lanes. It should be pretty cool.
Im not sure how my tired old 600 is going to do, but we shall see. If I like doing radar runs, I will probably drill my track for ice chisels and then when I do radar runs I will put the chisels in the track and then take them out when I go trail riding. I know with only 96 studs Im going to spin like crazy off the line, but Im going to give it my best shot, have fun and just see what happens.
