Man, sorry CF I haven't been on in a while. I switched to satellite internet and have been having problems. Switched from IE7 to Firefox, and now I seem to be going a lot smoother! So much for this weekend for doing some RIDING! Your right, mother nature bummed us out. We'll still hook up one way or another!

CF,
Its a 1990 Phazer 2 with a 485, red and white plastic. I'm just waiting on the tax return to hit so i can pay up. I'm switching the suspension out on it this summer with a 10" MXZ one than tear it apart like i did the SS so that I have confidence in it next year. Dont think i'll paint it though. I'll have a pic once i get it and i'll post it as my avatar also

Well I'll tell ya the conditions in the morning.... when I left WB last weekend it was 50/50 (mud/snow)...

Headed to WB tonight, Mother nature is supposedly going to give us 3,4,5 up to 8" tonight threw Wed night?..... I'll believe it when i see it I guess....

the cold weather doesn't do us any good without any snow, so I'll do a Snow Dance before I head up and I'll tell ya tomorrow if it worked!

CHEERS!

WEATHER SITE TEXT:

"snow is expected to overspread the area late this evening...
persisting into thursday evening. the snow will come in two
waves...with the first one coming tonight into early wednesday...with a
brief break in the snow possible wednesday afternoon. the second
and possibly more significant wave will move into the area
wednesday night and continue into thursday. this second wave will
be accompanied by gusty winds and increasingly colder air...which
will enhance the snow as it moves over the unfrozen great lakes
waters. the gusty winds will create blowing and drifting snow with
areas of reduced visibilities. the potential exists for storm
total snow amounts of 6 to 10 inches from tuesday night through
thursday."

well got up here to West Branch late lastnight before the snow....
got rain on the way up....

this morning woke up to about 2" of wet snow.... looks like maybe another inch or two today....
the snow/rain line was Saginaw - Midland - Gladwin west.....

they probably got 5-7" up in Gaylord ....
it hasn't been that cold for this storm (31-32 deg F) but i guess the COLD weather is on it's way so the snow should stick......

I'm headed back to Detroit area today but will be back in WB tonight again.... so I'll keep ya posted... if we get the second wave of snow late today into Wed Night.

CHEERS!

this one has cab/doors and a 5.5' plow.... so i'll take them off and keep those and I'm going to sell it...... they really are pretty cool "toys" to do stuff around the property.... the automatic dump bed will come in handy...

I was supposed to leave Thursday, then today... but my dad isn't feeling "up to par" for the trip and he's adamant about going so after the storm passes on Saturday I'm hoping to pick it up on Sunday.... (my 7 day pick up timeframe is running out) LOL.....

SR you want to go up and meet these guys for a beer at the end of the month one night?

CHEERS TO LETTING MOTHER NATURE OUT OF THE DOG HOUSE TOMORROW!!

From Weather Site: 6pm

"snow will quickly overspread northern michigan from southwest to
northeast saturday morning...with widespread snow...locally
heavy...continuing through saturday evening. in addition...east
winds crossing the still open waters of lake huron will result
in lake enhanced snow along and just inland from the lake huron
shoreline. snowfall rates will be locally intense...with one to
two inches per hour expected in the heavier snow bands. total
snow accumulations of 6 or more inches are expected across the
warning area...with locally higher amounts where lake huron
enhancement occurs. "

I'll keep ya posted on what we get....
