Go to Freeport, IL at US 20 nice Hotel with a pool and Hot Tub and trail rides out the Jane Adams Trail that runs up to Wisconsin, trails branch off to surrounding towns all over. We are having a blast this weekend.
Trails are closed on next week cause of Deer hunting, come on deer hunters put down them guns we got SNOW!!!!!!!

Ok, well the Hotel is at the intersection of US 20 Bypass and IL 26 that goes around North of Freeport, Il.
The Hotel there is:

Amerihost Inn & Suites
1060 Riverside Dr
Freeport, Il
Phone# 815-599-8510

The trail from the hotel goes to the Jane Adams trail that runs through Northern, IL all the way to Wisconsin with lots of branches off the Railroad bed leading to towns around the area.
Trails are closed this weekend and they are in bad shape after the Freezing Rain we had this week.
Thats Northern IL for ya we just can't seem to keep the good snow around for long.

On my previous post I got the name of the Hotel wrong.

Same phone number and adress just called the Baymont Inn and Suites now.
And we just got about 3 fresh inches of snow on top of the hard packed snow we had before.
Guy called me last night and said the trails were great.
To bad I had to go Christmas shoppin with the wife.
Just can not believe all this snow before Christmas.

Thanks for the info.
Would the hotel let people park in the lot and unload sleds?

Also Do you have anymore info on northern ILL Trails?
Around Woodstock or anything?
Thanks again.

Yes they will let you unload sleds at the Hotel. At least I have seen people there before with trailers.
As far as Woodstock goes, I don't really know much around there. I know around Rockford and Belvidere area they have trails.
Never ride around there though, we got some good ones around here.
That old railroad bed they did alot of work on up to Wisconsin. Its good for bike riding in the summer also.
No ATV'S are allowed on it.
And we have local snowmobile clubs that keep up the trails branching off off that.
