Midland and Penetang areas are seeing quite a dumping of snow over the last 24 hours and I've seen some road riders out now!! Our trails are still closed but it can't be long until they will open. Keep in mind that getting into Midland from the Orilia area may be tricky as Tay Township has banned snowmobiles from using the Tay trail which was the main trail that led you into Midland via the big green CN Bridge overtop of Hwy 12 near the Martyes Shrine Church!
Local waterways are still very unsafe for travel!!
