Tug Hill

Rode the Hill last night Thursday. It was my fifth time up there this year. There is plenty of snow but..... Beware of the local trail condition sites. There stating how great the trail conditions are. The truth is the whole region is hurting money wise this season because of the weather, and will say anything to get you up there.
That being said, if you do want the best conditions you must be on the trail by 4 to 5am. With the amount of traffic up there, the trail system is tore apart by noon. Avoid Salmon river road I don't think it's been groomed once this season, also at least five major water holes to cross, one threw my buddy 10 feet off his sled. Snow is thin to bare around the Redfield area. Gas the sleds before you go. Cedar Pines is asking 4.00 a gallon! The Timber view is getting 3.40 a gallon. if you choose to ride to the Hayloft in Redfied prepare to have a sled full of mud.
It might sound like im trashing the tug. I'm not. I love it up there. I just want my fellow riders to avoid some of the problems i've noticed. So don't party too late, get up early and enjoy!!!!!

Thanks for being honest. I had the trailer loaded, and was ready to go out Thursday. I read the absolutesnowmobile site, and decided to scrap the trip. Sucked, because I really wanted to go... I heard the traffic is terrible, and the water holes are plentiful. No thanks!

I'm looking towards Warsaw at this point. It's the same drive, and they had pretty nice trails last year when I rode there.
