It snowed for like 4 hours today in central MN, but none stayed because the ground is too warm. I am ok with that though, because I have a lot more work to do with the sleds. I am swapping the skid in my Vmax with one out of a 99 zr500 and it needs a lot of other small stuff too. Snowmobiling gets pretty expensive.

Ski resorts in Colorado are already operating, they have over 24" of snow on the ground.

I hope it travels a bit west....

Ya, a bit warm in the U.S. Yet!
As far as expensive goes, my free Arctic Cat has cost me $335 to get it running, another $175 in cosmetics..... paint, decals and seat cover. $200 for a trailer, $100 to get that squared away, $650 for another sled (not fun by yourself!) and $100 in bogie wheels and bearings. I still need a seat cover for the ski Doo and then 2 snowmobile coveres!

So yes my wife isn't happy with my free sled! LOL

Come on snow!
2-5" predicted for the Midwest. Possibly even a foot in some areas!
Looks like I'll be heading out to our friends house to test and tune the sleds on Saturday!

Same here! We got them all ready to go for the season and we're hardly getting anything near where we live. HOWEVER 2-3 hours away they have a good 3-4 feet, sounds like a weekend road trip

Ya, I wish I could go out tomorrow! But we are having my wife's B-day with her family tomorrow.
And it's supposed to warm up, so all the snow will be gone by Thanksgiving!

Oh well. Enjoy tomorrow!

Nice pics Ford guy! Glad you got out on the ZL. How'd it do?

Similar situation in VT last year; a foot of snow on Thanksgiving, then things warmed up. But the rest of the winter delivered.

Thanks skier! It did really well. No issues at all. Today just inspecting it I found the primary spring broken and the track needs to be aligned. Other than that a great day!

Central and upstate NY has had back and forth snow and rain since the last week in novemeber. Somewhere around 6 feet of over all accumulation, but it keeps warming up and raining, killing it all. Two days ago there was a foot and a half of powder, today we did more mudding than sledding... The forecast is looking promising though. Here's hoping ?
