Haliburton conditions?

Just wondering if anybody has been up to this area lately. Have a trip planned this week-end.

I was up in Port sydney today, about 45 minutes west of haliburton. Trails were really nice. They're supposed to get some snow/rain tonight and into friday. Should be nice for the weekend. Have a fun and safe trip.

Man I hope all this stuff is coming down as snow for you. It's never fun riding in the rain! Sunday (tomorrow) is going to be a very very good day for snowmobiling! Hope you're having fun!

How was your trip hoogenraad? The trails were bumpy but it was way better then what we left I probably passed you at one point in time, we were in Dorset, Hunstville, baysville, Port Sydney, and everywhere in between

Excellent trip formula canuk! It was nice to get that dump of snow saturday night. One guy we were with saturday night lost his machine on lake kushog. Divers came sunday morning and recovered it, he was o.k. so that was good. Happened just after we left the firehouse grill in dorset. Trails like a sno-cross course leading into dorset. Sure glad I have a REV. Sucks the bumps right up.

We saw that guy go down! Well we got there as he was getting pulled out. Sucks to see it happen, hopefully he cut his sled as she went down

Sucks to hear that he broke through the ice! Was he on a staked trail? I'm headed up to parry sound this weekend and i'm a little worried about ice conditions with all the warm weather we had the last week. Anyways sounds like you guys had a blast, looks like the season is just starting for southern ontario. Happy trails

The lakes were ok up there. Some were staked, some weren't. The most we had to jump was about 20 feet, and by the time Sunday rolled around it was even less. It would still be a good idea to ask one of the locals about any trouble areas though
