USA/mass/worcester

well its snowing pretty good here, so far 8 inches of fresh base in the wachusett area. we have an icy base in spots, some others dont have anything. suppose to snow for another 5 hours. that means a lot of snow on the trails. trails in rutland state park are open again. so if you are registered in mass and wanna ride, come on over to central mass. if you need anymore info on where to drop off or which way to go on the trails, pm me. around 30 miles of trails in rutland state park and there are trails that will take you to canada if you wanna go that far or south down to ct.

UPDATE:2-14-07

Please tread lightly

we got around 1 foot of snow in places with atleast 10 everywhere. there is as much as 16 inches in princeton. Rutland State park is opening the gates at 7 am for sledding tomorrow. trails will be ungroomed for the time being. Expect them to be groomed either friday or saturday if conditions allow

The Desroches Trail in Barre is open. grooming will begin satuday night cuz im the one grooming. and grooming sucks cuz its soooo boring.... notice how my username is shawnyd, well my name is shawn desroches.

Im taking thursday off from school, I hope to see lots of people out enjoying the snow. If you need directions or want to meet up with me this weekend, I would be more than willing to give tours.
