Is that a 583 rotax in a polaris? I assume it is how you got the name Rotaris. I guess that would make it an Indy 583? I dunno, looks like it may be an older 670?

The guy I bought it from said it is a 1995 Polaris Indy 500 RXL or SKS
I cannot remember, I will have to ask him again.
He also put a 136" track on it as well as putting a 670 rotax in it.
He also had a port and polish done before I got it.

I do not know what year the motor is as there are few numbers on it.
He also installed polaris 750 storm gears in it and also added huge heat exchangers under the seat.

We had a couple of inches of snow on the ground so I took it for a real quick loop and the ski's didn't want to stay on the ground!!

This sled feel's crazy powerful!!!

The 670's are like that. I had a 93 Mach 1 with a 670 in it and done the same thing. It would carry the ski all the way up to 60-65 mph. i could be rolling along 35mph and nail it and it would come up to about a 45 degree angle. Alot of fun

Wouldn't be an RXL they are 650's, 136 track, would be SKS looks like she'll be a screamer.

Well I sure hope it is.
I did a compression test and it was 170 and 160 so now I hope it will last the winter.
I had one blown piston and I didn't have the money to get another so I cleaned it up and did an acid wash and put it all back together. So I was suprised when the compression was as good as it was.
Still no snow yet so I have lot's of time to work on it.
