I gotta agree, our 1979 John Deere 600 was a killer machine for it's age. As for the idea of a new Harley Sled, I think it'd be pretty cool, but more of a novelty than anything else. I can see a few rich bankers, lawyers, or die-hard bikers cruising trails on 'em. I think they'd more than likely be a bulky machine, and could only run on the same trails as a Ski-Doo Elite. But I think the noise factor would be an issue in some areas. I personally would like to see a Buell engine in a sled if Harley ever got back into the sled game. I'm sure they have the technology for it. When is Honda gonna make a run on the snowmobile market? Or have they already? I read once that back in the 70's they made a few sleds. They did enter the PWC market afterall...

I had my2002 Kawasaki Ninja zx6r on a dyno and put out 105 horsepower
My buddies 2003 vrod only put out 95 horse power thats a 1000cc
I had a 600 cc
and i creamed him in the 1/8 1/4 and mile race on the dyno
Harleys suck
