89 Ski-Doo Mach 1

Here are some photos of my 89 Mach 1. It has been a summer project and I am finally finished(minus a few cosmetic items). Mechanically it is brand new, the seat has been recovered and it has a nice 90 hood(I plan on getting 89 decals for it). The drive line and suspension has been rebuilt with new wheels, bearings, seals, sprockets, chain & gears, slides and a gas shock. I also installed a 1" Camoplast track. It has a ported & clutched 521 type 537 in place of the original 583. I still have the original burned down 89 583 engine, and exhaust. I also lowered the front end 1". I would go even lower but what suspension I have left would be gone.

Hope you guys don't think this is too many pics...but everyone likes pics

Before

After- veiw post below for more pics.

Thanks for the positive feedback! I'm not 100% sure how to submit for SOTM, I think I have to e-mail it to someone?

I'm pretty sure mine is a Kimpex windshield. Usually I don't have luck with aftermarket shield fitting right but this one did. I got it from Royal Distributing when they had a sale. Its really nice but fine scratches show up really bad. I had it outside under a cover just after I bought it on the machine for a couple weeks before I started the project, and it just scuffed and scratched it all to hell. So I am going to have to buff it later. I wish that they would carry a low smoked windshield. All they have is low black or high clear. I didn't think I wanted to go with a high windshield.

Thanks, your 93 Mach is the big boy, 670 right? A 670 engine is my next step. Or find some twin tuner pipes for my 521 or 583. I have personally only seen one set for sale, and they were sold before I got to them.

Thanks Iceman, and Tambo. I didn't know that was your video Iceman, I saw that awhile ago back when I first got my Mach, I think I was trying to find out what they sound like. Mine sounds different though, probably because someone has modified the muffler.
