My New Polaris

picked this up today 1974 Polaris Electra 340... Its in good shape the motor just needs alittle work...Anyone familar with these?

Honestly... No Clue lol... Im not the best person to work with motors but I figured it wont hurt to tinker... I've had it running for a short time... but the previous owner said when he would ride it it would run "hot" on the fan side and would run real crappy...for $200 I guess I can't complain.

Make the carb on that side slightly richer with the air screw by 1/4 turn out.

I took it for a ride tonight and the motor definately needs some work... In order to really get it to move with me on it ( I only weigh 180lbs) i had to help push it until it got going... and it just seemed to run lousy over all...
