Hawaii Snowmobile Show

So what if there's 6 months left till winter? Water is almost the same as snow, just a bit harder and wetter ...

There were two competitions at this event, first the King of Hawaii where people competed to get around the course of buoys without sinking, there were 2 qualifying rounds and points were awarded for each buoy passed, then eliminations. Really cool event and amazing how well some people get their machines to run on water! Don't know if there are any such events in the USA or Canada?

More pics available on my hompage for those who are interested ...

It doesn't matter if they sink them (which they often do ....) they just pull them out, dry them out, and try again

The sled in my avatar and the 1st pic on the left is a 1990 indy 500 chassis modded w/ a 600 small block. Your 500sks is a perfect candidate for H20Xing

Nice pics Polymoog and Rotalaris! Looks like a lot of fun for sure.

The closest I get to water crossing is during the melt in the spring with the occasional overflowing creek.

funny thing on maui our local surf shop about 15 years ago started carrying a line of snowboards and bindings for a while.
