Grand Mesa 12-16-07

So a buddy and I headed up to see what trouble we could get in..

1st time the black phazer actually got a good run.. Snow was good. (need a tad more) the day was perfect..

We pretty much had the place to ourselves...

Then we whiped around a little

Found a hill to climb

And thats pretty much it.

The guy on my black phazer had only ridden twice off trail.. Both times were with me.. Like a fish in water..

The Ski area about 700 feet lower claims a base of 40"

Actual snowfall on top is supposed to be 48"

But the wind blows A LOT and the rocks you can see are huge.

Beautiful!!!!
That's exactly the type of conditions the old Phazers excel in...but........you call that a hill?
Great shots.
Thanks

Given that Grand Mesa is the worlds largest FLAT topped mountain.. Thats pretty much it. There are some steeper ones around of coarse. Most a walk in the park for the big sleds. Me I like boondockin and generally goofing off. So the Phazers work fine for me.
